After aerial line damage caused by a motor vehicle accident was reported, a PRG damage specialist obtained a copy of the accident report from the Saratoga County Sheriff's office and surveyed the scene. Due to the driver's brakes failing, the vehicle drove off the roadway, striking and snapping a utility pole. The driver escaped in time but the resulting fire caused damage to the vehicle, the aerial lines and the utility pole. Technicians responded and made the necessary repairs. Operator and vehicle failure were determined to be the root cause of the damage.
