Gov. Hickenlooper & Lt. Gov. Lynne to Visit Expanding Contact Center in La Junta


Governor John W. Hickenlooper and Lieutenant Governor Donna Lynne will visit La Junta during the 2016 bill signing tour of the Eastern Plains. They will visit the Project Resources Group (PRG), which recently announced an expansion of its La Junta call center.

The governor will be making remarks to the community and elected officials about this year’s Pedal the Plains, the positive economic effect it has in rural communities and he will be congratulating PRG who recently announced their second expansion of the year with an additional 50 jobs added by end of year. This brings the total jobs that PRG has created for the area in the last year to 85.

La Junta is proud to be one of the stops for the fifth annual Pedal the Plains, which was started by Governor John Hickenlooper in 2012. The other route stops are in Ordway and Fowler.
